Students who previously applied for verification of their Class 10 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) results now have the opportunity to obtain photocopies of their evaluated answer booklets. Verification and Photocopy Requests
For Class 10 students, the verification of marks application window was open from May 20 to May 24, with a fee of ₹500. Now, you can apply for a photocopy of your evaluated answer booklets from June 4 to June 5. Each photocopy request will also require a fee of ₹500 per answer book.
Revaluation Process
If you wish to challenge the marks awarded for a specific answer, you must apply for revaluation. The application period for revaluation is from June 9 to June 10, with a fee of ₹100 per question.
How to Apply for Photocopy of Evaluated Answer Books?
Follow these steps to apply for a photocopy of your evaluated answer booklets:
- Visit the Official Website: Go to the CBSE official website at cbse.gov.in.
- Navigate to the Application Section: Under the ‘Examinations’ section, click on ‘Apply for evaluated answer books.’
- Enter Required Details: Input your roll number, five-digit school number, and center number.
- Follow Instructions: Adhere to the guidelines provided in the form.
- Submit the Application: Click on the ‘Submit’ button and pay the application fee.
- Download Confirmation: Save the confirmation page for future reference.
Once your application is processed, a scanned copy of your answer booklet will be made available in your login account. All information identifying the examiner will be blocked to maintain confidentiality.
Evaluation Process Overview
This year, CBSE evaluated a total of 2,58,78,230 answer books for both Class 10 and Class 12 students. Out of these, 1,48,27,963 were for Class 10 and 1,10,50,267 were for Class 12. The board assured that the evaluation was carried out under a ‘well-settled policy’ to ensure accuracy and fairness. They also outlined the steps taken to achieve an ‘error-free’ evaluation process.
