Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE will close the registration for submission of a list of candidates (LOC) of classes 10 and 12 on September 28, 2023. Schools must submit the forms by today to avoid late fee charges. The LOC can be done on the website – cbse.gov.in through e-Pariksha link.
Earlier the last date to submit the CBSE LOC forms was on September 18, 2023 however the board decided to extend the registration and was extended till September 28, 2023. From September 29, 2023, to October 5, 2023, a late fee will be charged.
The late fee per candidate is Rs. 2000 in addition to the normal fee prescribed in the notice dated August 17, 2023. Practical fees for Class 12 are Rs.150 per practical subject per candidate for schools in India and Nepal and Rs 350/- per practical subject per candidate for schools abroad.
CBSE has issued a notice stating that no extension of the last date for filling up the correct information/data at the time of submission. All the schools are once again reminded of the importance of the correct submission of data in the LOC. Staff engaged in filling up details should also be made aware of all the guidelines that are laid down to avoid mistakes.
Parents may also be briefed about the importance of correct data and the consequences if the wrong data is submitted. Subject correction after submission of LOC will not be entertained in any manner. CBSE has advised that all affiliated schools must submit the LOC within the duration given to avoid delay in further exam process.
