1800-102-2727The fifth chapter by E.V Lucas talks about a different kind of school where its students are taught to sympathise with and help each other. The story starts with the writer having heard a lot about Miss Beam's School and said that they were using new methods of teaching to make the children better citizens and that made the writer want to check it for himself and therefore visited Miss Beam's school and upon entering saw a girl whose eyes were covered with bandages and was being carefully being led by a little boy. And later it is told by Miss Beam herself how her methods were simple but different as it attempted to teach thoughtfulness and kindness instead of a mere thought by allowing the children to step into the lives of others.
