1800-102-2727The Telangana State Secondary Education Board and the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) are the education boards responsible for conducting exams for Class 10 and Class 12 respectively in the state. The boards were established in 2014 with their headquarters in Hyderabad under the Telangana Act of 2014. It all started with 44 staff and has since then grown to more than 700.
Besides conducting exams according to the listed courses, the school boards provide curricula, teaching courses, and textbooks for school education in Telangana. The Council is currently conducting exams for 10th, 10+2, D.Ed. And diploma courses. Approximately 5 Lakh candidates appear in the examinations conducted by the SSC Board every year. Currently, more than 8,000 schools are affiliated with the Boards. More than 1,546 test centers have been established across the state. Apart from the liaison office in Hyderabad, the boards have set up 26 book and guidance/information distribution centers in the state to cater to the students.
Operating under the Government of Telangana, the SSC and TSBIE are self-governing departments. They conduct examinations like SSC, OSSC levels, and others every year.
