The Telangana State Secondary Education Board and the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) are the education boards responsible for conducting exams for Class 10 and Class 12 respectively in the state. The boards were established in 2014 with their headquarters in Hyderabad under the Telangana Act of 2014. It all started with 44 staff and has since then grown to more than 700.

Apart from the liaison office in Hyderabad, the boards have set up 26 book and guidance/information distribution centers in the state to cater to the students.
