1800-102-2727Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2023: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has officially announced the results for the JEE Advanced 2023 today, June 18. Candidates can now access their scores starting from 10 am onwards on the official exam website, jeeadv.ac.in. Stay tuned for live updates on the JEE Advanced 2023 result.
In addition to the results, IIT Guwahati will also release the category-wise JEE Advanced cut-offs, the names of the top-ranking candidates nationwide, and the marks obtained by them. Furthermore, the final answer key will be published alongside the results.
The entrance test, which took place on June 4, served as the gateway for admission to undergraduate courses at IITs, IISERs, and IISc. The exam was conducted in two shifts, from 9 am to 12 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Provisional answer keys were made available on June 11.
Once the results are declared, successful candidates can proceed to participate in the JoSAA counseling process to secure their Engineering seat. Detailed information regarding the counseling process has been provided on the official website, josaa.nic.in.

The authorities will also release the qualifying cutoff along with the JEE Advanced result 2023. The minimum marks a candidate is required to score in every subject and in total to be included in the rank list will form the qualifying JEE Advanced cutoff 2023. It must be noted that the JEE Advanced 2023 cutoff will vary for different categories. A candidate who qualifies in more than one category will be considered in all the categories to which he/she belongs for the purpose of JEE Advanced ranking.
The shortlisted candidates will be eligible to participate in the JEE Advanced 2023 counselling and seat allotment process. However, qualifying in JEE Advanced 2023 or participating in the joint seat allocation process does not guarantee a candidate gets admission to IITs. JoSAA will release the JEE Advanced cutoff for admission in different IITs after the counselling and admission process.
The counselling of JEE Advanced 2023 will be conducted as a centralized process by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The counselling schedule of JoSAA 2023 will be released later on the official website. JoSAA 2023 counselling registration and choice filling will be as per the schedule.

Q1. How do I know if I qualify for JEE Advanced?
Answer: Candidates must have cleared Class 12th or equivalent examination to be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. The candidates should be within the top 20 category percentile of the qualifying examination. While calculating aggregate marks, the candidates should take into account scores in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Language, and any one other subject.
Q2. How are JEE Advanced Marks Calculated?
Answer: JEE Advanced will consist of two papers viz. paper-1 and paper-2. With a total of 54 questions in each paper, the total marks of JEE Advanced Paper- 1 and Paper 2 are 188 each. So the JEE Advanced total marks for both papers is 366.
