Our blood pressure and temperature also go down, and the brain relaxes, which is why we cannot think or act consciously during our sleep. Even though we forget most of our dreams by the time we wake up, dreaming is still an important activity of the mind as it enables us to sleep through the disturbances. While we feel that our dreams mostly reveal our problems, they can give solutions to those related problems as well. But we must always remember one thing that our dreams cannot determine the future.
