Sleep is also known as the state of unconscious rest during which the body relaxes of the day's tiredness. A good sleep gives rest to the body and mind for when we sleep. Our body recovers from the exertion it had to do. Many things happen during the time we are sleeping. We even forget most of them when we wake up while sometimes we may remember a dream. Our muscles relax more when we enjoy a night of sound sleep, and our heartbeat becomes slower than what it is when awake. Our blood pressure and temperature also go down, and the brain relaxes, which is why we cannot think or act consciously during our sleep. Even though we forget most of our dreams by the time we wake up, dreaming is still an important activity of the mind as it enables us to sleep through the disturbances. While we feel that our dreams mostly reveal our problems, they can give solutions to those related problems as well. But we must always remember one thing that our dreams cannot determine the future.
