1800-102-2727This chapter takes us to Eid fairs that used to be held in Rasheed's village every year. Rasheed went to see the fair with his uncle and a servant for the first time that year and met some friends of his uncle and took him with them. Later, Rasheed's uncle left him to look around the fair with the servant and instructed him to take care of himself. Rasheed and the servant took a round of the fair and stopped in front of the Lucky Shop, which was asking everybody to try their luck at just 50 paise. Rasheed was attracted by the rewards and thought of trying his luck at the game but instead lost all his money in greed and became a laughing stock for the public.
Soon as they came back to the place where his uncle had left and when the uncle came, bhaiya told him everything regarding what had happened and the uncle seeing Rasheed visibly upset tells him that it was not about good or bad luck because it was an act of befooling people to attract them towards the game to then take money from them, and finally uncle gave Rasheed an umbrella and suggested him to forget about all that had happened.
