MSBSHSE Exam 2024

MSBSHSE 2024: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is an autonomous education board established in 1965 under the provisions of the Maharashtra Act No. 41. MSBSHSE oversees the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examinations in the state of Maharashtra. 

There are nine divisional boards set up by the MSBSHSE across the state to oversee and conduct HSC and SSC examinations. The nine divisional boards are located in Pune, Mumbai, Amravati, Latur, Kolhapur, Nasik, Aurangabad, Nagpur and Ratnagiri. 

The Board conducts examinations twice a year. The board is also in charge of executing the curriculum and syllabus of all the Maharashtra Board Books and exam timetables. 

About Maharashtra Board

Every year, the Maharashtra State Education Board administers the Maha HSC board exams, determining the syllabus and paper pattern for Maha Class 12. Adherence to this curriculum, along with practicing previous years' question papers, is imperative for students preparing for these exams. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education oversees both HSC and SSC Examinations in the state through its nine Divisional Boards situated in Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur, and Ratnagiri.

To successfully pass the 12th board exams, students must meet the qualifying mandates set by the Maharashtra HSC Board, which stipulates a minimum score of 35 percent or above. This criterion encompasses both practical and theory exam marks. In instances where a student falls short of the 35 percent threshold, they are required to participate in the Maharashtra HSC Supplementary exams to attain a passing grade in the Maharashtra HSC Exams.

History of MSBSHSE

The State Board of Maharashtra was founded on 1st January 1966 as Maharashtra State Secondary Education Board. The Board was set up to manage all the activities regarding secondary education in Maharashtra. In 1967, the act was revised, wherein the name of the Maharashtra Board was changed to Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

MSBSHSE Syllabus

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is responsible for updating and releasing the syllabus for all the classes. To prepare well for the Maharashtra SSC and HSC examinations, students need to refer to the MSBSHSE Syllabus for each subject. 

The syllabus gives students a fair idea of all the chapters and topics covered for the academic year. It also gives an idea of the exam pattern, marking scheme, and how the question paper is designed.

Previous Year Question Paper

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education conducts exams twice a year for classes 10 and 12. Students studying for the Maharashtra State Board exams need to refer to the previous year’s question papers. Solving previous years’ question papers help students in many ways. It helps to boost preparation, get familiar with the syllabus, and improve speed and accuracy. 

MSBSHSE Exam Admit Card

MSBSHSE released the admit cards for Maharashtra SSC and HSC exams on the official website - mahahsscboard.in. It is mandatory for students writing SSC and HSC exams to carry the admit cards to the exam hall. Without the admit card, students will not be permitted to write the exam. Students can collect the HSC Exam Admit Card for Class 12 from their respective schools. The admit card carries the signature of the principal of the school, subject details, and the exam time and date.

MSBSHSE Exam Result 

The Maharashtra SSC Result is expected to be released on 20 June 2022, and the Maharashtra HSC Result is expected to be released on 10 June 2022. Students will be able to check their board results for classes 10th and 12th online on the official websites mahahsscboard.in and mahresult.nic.in.
