DHBBVC Exam 2025-26  

Dr Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition, or popularly known as DHBBVC, is a state-level science olympiad. Since 1981, it has been conducted by the Greater Bombay Science Teachers’ Association (GBSTA). The competition aims to nurture scientific and practical skills in the students of classes 6th to 9th. It is a multi-stage competitive exam with both theoretical and practical rounds. DHBBVC 2025-26 is set to begin on 8th November 2025 with a written examination.

DHBBVC 2025-26 Exam Application Process

Eligible candidates and schools can register for the science olympiad through the official portal. It is a completely online application process that can be done through the school or individually. 

Note: Registration through private tuitions or academies is strictly prohibited. 

Application Process Through Already Registered Schools

  • Visit the official www.msta.in website and click on ‘apply online” for the DHBBVC 2025-26 link. 
  • Log in using your last year's school login ID and password. 

If this is your first time applying for the DHBBVC, then you will have to begin by registering your school by clicking on the “New School Registration” link. 

  • After that, select your three preferred exam centres.
  • Fill in all the necessary details and submit the form. 
  • Click on the “Pay Student Fees” link and enter the total number of eligible students. The required application fee amount will be generated. 
  • You will be directed to the payment window. Pay the application fee through secure online options. 
  • Once the payment is completed, log out of your account. 
  • Re-login after half an hour to fill in all the student information one by one. 

Note: You can edit the school and student’s information till the last date of registration. 

Application Process For an Individual Student

You can register for the DHBBVC exam without being associated with a school. 

  • Visit the official website and click on the “New Individual Registration” link.
  • Type in your mobile number in the required spaces and fill in the OTP to verify your mobile number.
  • Fill in your student details as required. 
  • Upload your passport-sized photograph and a school certificate to complete your process. 
  • Follow it up by paying the application fee of ₹ 500 through online payment modes. 
  • Take a screenshot of the confirmation message for future reference.

- The remaining students will receive a Bronze medal, a certificate and a ₹ 1,000 scholarship.
