1800-102-2727Dr Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition, or popularly known as DHBBVC, is a state-level science olympiad. Since 1981, it has been conducted by the Greater Bombay Science Teachers’ Association (GBSTA). The competition aims to nurture scientific and practical skills in the students of classes 6th to 9th. It is a multi-stage competitive exam with both theoretical and practical rounds. DHBBVC 2025-26 is set to begin on 8th November 2025 with a written examination.

Merit-Based - 30 % marks of Phase 1 + scores of the other phases. Final Results: - Top 10% will be selected for the Gold Medal, certificate and ₹ 3,000 scholarship. - Next 60% candidates will get Silver Medal, certificate and ₹ 2,000 scholarship. - The remaining students will receive a Bronze medal, a certificate and a ₹ 1,000 scholarship. |
