MHT CET 2023 Application Form

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) is an entrance test conducted by the state government of Maharashtra to shortlist students for undergraduate courses including engineering and pharmacy. The exam is conducted at several locations across Maharashtra. The tentative schedule for the exam is May 2023. The online registration and confirmation of the application form will soon be available on the official website.  

Registration Fees for MHT CET 2023

For candidates from Maharashtra State belonging to the general category; Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) and J & K Migrant candidates, the registration fee for MHT CET 2022 is Rs 800 + Bank charges. If you have missed out on the submission deadline, the registration fee is Rs 800 + a late fee charge of Rs 500. For reserved category candidates, the application fee is Rs 600.

Eligibility for MHT CET 2023

Students who want to write the MHT CET 2023 exam must meet certain criteria to take the exam. The student must be a Citizen of India and must have passed a 10+2 intermediate or equivalent examination from any recognised board. Also, each student must have scored at least 50% marks (general category) and 45% marks (reserved categories) to be eligible to write the exam.

Ques.1- When is the MHT CET 2023 exam?
Ans.- The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2022 has been postponed. Maharashtra's Minister of Higher and Technical Education, Uday Samant, announced that the MHT CET 2022, will be held in May 2023. This has been done in view of the national-level entrance exams – Joint Entrance Exam Main (JEE Main) and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).

Ques.2- What is the minimum age limit requirement for MHT CET?
Ans.- There is no age limit for a candidate to take the MHT CET exam. However, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects from a recognised board. Also, you have to provide your provisional mark sheet for class 12th during the time of admission.

Ques.3- Why was the MHT CET 2023 exam rescheduled?
Ans.- MHT CET 2023 exam is scheduled to be held in May from the earlier dates given as the dates were clashing with JEE and NEET exam dates. The dates for the MHT CET exams are announced on the official website.

Ques.4- Where can I download my MHT CET admit card?
Ans.- MHT CET admit card can be downloaded from the official website. The admit card will be made available for students only ten days prior to the exam begins. Without the admit card students will not be allowed to enter the exam hall or write the exam.

Ques.5- Does MHT CET 2023 exam have negative marking?
Ans.- There is no negative marking in the MHT CET 2023 exam. However, students who wish to clear the exams with flying colours to get into a good college in Maharashtra must work hard towards it.
