This story revolves around a tiny creature that is intelligent and hard-working. The so-called tiny creatures are "Ants"-the most common and the smallest but also the wisest insect. But people have watched their daily behaviour closely and might have thought about how they are such hard-working. We will get to know several fascinating facts about these tiny, hard-working and intelligent creatures.

In order to communicate with each other or pass the messages, ants use their feelers or antennae. You might have noticed the group of ants moving on the wall or floor. They greet the others coming from the opposite direction by touching their antennae. Nevertheless, there are various types of ants in existence, among which the common ants are in black and red.

You might wonder where these tiny creatures live and store their food. Ants live in comfortable homes called 'anthills' or 'nests'. Each anthill is made up of hundreds of rooms and passages. The queen ants lay eggs in some of the rooms. Some rooms are used for taking care of young ones called grubs. Some are used as storerooms for food. Some are reserved quarters for worker ants. Ants live in their respective rooms or passages and perform their duties regularly. The soldier ants and workers never try to harm the young ones.

As a whole, Ants' lives are very peaceful. Every ant does its share of work intelligently and bravely and never fights with other group members. Ants are well-known for their discipline, hard work and dedication.
