NCERT Solutions for Class 7 English Honeycomb Chapter 1: The Three Questions

NCERT Solutions for Class 7 English Honeycomb Chapter 1 The Three Questions: The king gave an idea for consideration that he would always succeed if he could find answers to his three questions. The three questions were: what is the right time to start something? Which individuals should he listen to? What is the foremost important thing for him to do?

The king declared to supply an outsized sum of money as a present to the one who could answer. He received different answers to his questions. Many wise men answered his first question. A few of them suggested he rearrange a timetable; others wanted him to travel away from everything and engross himself in taking care of work. A few suggested getting a mentor council to choose everything, and others replied that some works need immediate attention. Some people gave their opinion to look into the long run by seeking the help of a magician. In response to his second query, some wise men said the king should hear his councillors, priests, doctors, or soldiers. For his majesty's third question, some said science and non-secular worship should be absolutely the best priority. However, the king, after hearing the answers, wasn't satisfied with any suggestions. He wanted the advice of a hermit, known for his wisdom.

The king left behind his horse and guards and visited him in simple clothes. The hermit lived in a hut, and he was digging his hut to reach rock bottom. The King asked three questions, but he received no reply. Because he was weak and old, so the king started digging for him. After some time, he asked again but didn't receive any reply. The king inquired again after an hour, to which hermit replied that somebody was coming.
