1800-102-2727In the poem 'Trees,' the poet lists the various advantages that numerous living beings drive from trees irrespective of the season. The poem shows the poet's love for trees. These advantages are both materialistic and aesthetic. Birds use the trees to make a nest and also for getting their food. Children love to play with trees, swing and climb around the branches, to hide behind the trees while playing 'Hide and Seek.' Thus, there is an emotional bond between trees and children as trees are children's play buddies.
Some people also make tree houses to live in, on the old trees. When the strong wind blows through the trees, it carries the leaves along with it. Some people often organise tea parties under trees in their garden. Hence, trees also help people to connect socially. Sometimes kites get stuck in the tree branches.
Trees are beneficial in summers as they are used for cool shades, especially for travellers and peddlers. When there is no shade needed in the winter season, people don't sit under the trees but instead take a sunbath. We can say that there is a mutual relationship between trees and humans as humans derive countless benefits from trees. One such benefit is timber, which is later used to make furniture or as fuel. People cut down trees shattering their aesthetic values for timber.
Trees add beauty to nature, and mothers love to paint tree paintings on their canvas. During the autumn season, leaves fall in the garden; fathers collect them with a rake's help; these leaves are later used for fire.
Hence, trees are vital for our survival. They provide us with oxygen, fruits, timber, rubber, wood, fuel, etc. We can't imagine a world without trees, so we should be grateful to them and must not exploit such a precious gift.
