1800-102-2727This is a tale about Iswaran and his art of storytelling. Mahendra's work demanded him to move from place to place. Iswaran cooked his meals, washed his clothes, and chatted with him at night. He was fortunate to have him as his caretaker. Iswaran was fond of reading Tamil thrillers. Due to his fondness, he invented his thrillers and would narrate the same to Mahendra. The latter used to hear patiently without finding any errors in the story. He told a story to Mahendra about how he paralysed a mad elephant. One day when Ishwaran was talking about his ancestors, he started talking about a ghost. He said that he had come around ghosts, but he was not afraid of them.
He also mentioned that the place where they have their tent was a burial ground. He told Mahendra that there is a woman ghost seen only on a bright full moon night. She carried a foetus in her arms and went around moaning. This story terrified Mahendra to a great extent. He finally ended up thinking about the ghost women on a full moon night. He could even hear a low moan outside his window on the full moon night. He looked out from his window and, to his astonishment, found a woman standing there. Mahendra found that he was often dreaming of that woman ghost. Mahendra never paid heed to Iswaran's questions and ended up deciding to resign from his job and leave that haunted place.
