Joint Entrance Exam or JEE-Main & Advance are a national level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency across the country. JEE-Main is conducted four times a year, consisting of 180 questions based on Physics, Chemistry and Maths, in which each section has 45 questions. Students can not only take admissions in government engineering and architecture colleges but also to other centrally funded technical institutions through JEE exam.
JEE-Advance is particularly for admissions in IITs and NITs across the country. JEE Advanced is exclusively for the top 2 lakh rankers of JEE Main for admissions in IITs and NITs. Students aspiring to be in one of the IITs should apply for JEE Advanced. The two exams are very different. The differences between these two are-

Session 1: Syllabus for class 9th will be completed.
Session 2: Syllabus for 10th will be completed, and students will be free to write their boards and NTSE.
