1800-102-2727JEE is one of the checkpoints that engineering students must pass in order to get admitted to their selected course. JEE Main and JEE Advanced are national-level entrance tests that grant India's top engineering schools admission. JEE Main is an important exam held by government-supported technical institutes like NITs and IIITs. Still, IITs primarily host JEE Advanced, and candidates must pass JEE Main to take JEE Advanced.
Both JEE Main and JEE Advanced are interconnected, yet the differences cannot be overlooked. Students must understand the distinction between these exams. The NTA administers JEE main, while the IITs direct JEE advanced rotating. JEE Main is also the eligibility examination for candidates to take the JEE Advanced exam.
JEE Main is held to provide admission into BE or B.Tech programmes at various NITs and other institutions around the country. JEE Advanced is the entrance exam for the well-known Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
There is no set percentage for appearing in the JEE Main test. However, to get admission in the NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs, candidates must get a minimum of 75% (65% for SC/ST students) in the qualifying test or rank in the top 20% in their respective boards' class 12th examination. Only candidates who passed their 12th-grade examinations in 2020, 2021, or 2022 are eligible to apply for this test. However, only the top two lakh scorers in the JEE Main are qualified to take the JEE Advanced.

1. Is it a good idea to join Aakash in 12th grade?
You can, of course, apply for admission in 12th grade. Students only need to take the admission exam (to claim a scholarship), and then they are on board with Aakash for the amazing journey of learning.
2. Can we join Aakash in the middle of the session?
Yes, you are eligible to come. However, if you are sincere about getting into IIT/NIT, you should enrol in the 11th grade because it will be more difficult for you to match or grasp some of the topics taught in the 11th grade if you enrol in the 12th.
3. Are Aakash's faculty engaging?
We have a big pool of devoted, experienced, and highly qualified faculty members at Aakash. Therefore, we have a manageable student-faculty ratio so that faculty can give special attention and care to each student.
