VITEEE Counselling

The VITEEE 2025 Phase 5 Counselling process is ongoing, giving students who cleared the exam a chance to secure a seat at VIT. Registrations are open on ugresults.vit.ac.in, where candidates can pay the counselling fee and submit their preferences for courses and campuses. Results were announced on 3 May 2025. The system is fully online and applies to all VIT campuses—Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and Andhra Pradesh.

The counselling is rank-based and ensures fairness. Here’s how it works:

Step 1 – Registration

Sign up online and pay the counselling fee. Your slot and date will be sent by SMS or email.

Step 2 – Document Verification

Bring the required documents to the centre. Only verified candidates move forward to seat allotment.

Step 3 – Seat Allotment

Seats are given based on your rank, choices, and seat availability. Once you accept a branch and campus, it cannot be changed.

Step 4 – Fee Payment

To lock your seat, pay the advance tuition fee within the deadline. Missing it could cost you your admission.

Counselling Fee

Every student must pay a non-refundable fee of ₹12,000* (including GST) to register. This allows you to fill in your choices. After allotment, you’ll also need to pay the advance tuition fee within the given time to secure your place.

Seat Allocation in VITEEE Counselling

For transparency, the seat allotment process is systematic. The main factors considered include:

• VITEEE Rank: Students who score more in the VITEEE Rank will get the first choice in a branch and campus.
• Ordered Choices Filled: The order in which candidates list their preferences matters a lot.
• Seat: There allotment of seats through the number available at a time.

Students must deposit the fee after the seat confirmation to secure their admission.
