We read about conservation of wildlife, and different wildlife sanctuaries, national parks, and biosphere reserves in India. We also learn about flora and fauna and their different species found globally, especially in India. The chapter also tells us about migration. It concludes by telling us about the recycling of paper and reforestation as a means to curb the effects of deforestation.

  • We also learn about the harmful effects of deforestation, like droughts and desertification.
