NCERT Solutions for Class 8 Science Chapter 17: Stars and the Solar System

In this chapter, we will explore our planet and the whole solar system. We will read about the different types of celestial objects in the night sky. We will read about the moon, its surface, its rotation and revolution and its impact on the earth. We will also study about the different stars in the sky. The chapter also provides us with a brief explanation about constellations. We will also read about the solar system and the various celestial bodies it consists of. The chapter ends by giving us a brief about asteroids, comets and artificial satellites.
