MET Full Form and Overview

MET stands for Manipal Entrance Test. It is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) for admission to undergraduate engineering (BTech) and other programmes at Manipal Institutes. MET 2027 Latest Updates 

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has not released the official MET 2027 schedule. Based on previous trends, MET 2027 registration is expected to open in October–November 2026, with Phase 1 likely in April 2027 and Phase 2 in May 2027.

The MET 2026 cycle is complete. As per the official MET 2026 schedule, the last date to apply for Phase 1 was 15 March 2026, Phase 1 was held on 13 and 14 April 2026, Phase 2 on 23 and 24 May 2026, and B.Tech counselling began in the second week of June 2026. When Is the MET Exam 2027? Expected Dates 

The MET Exam 2027 is expected to be held in two phases: Phase 1 in mid-April 2027 and Phase 2 in the second half of May 2027. These estimates follow the official MET 2026 schedule published by MAHE. MET Application Process

• • Registration: To register for the exam, visit the official website and type in your details, such as mobile number and email ID. Make sure to create a strong but easy-to-remember password for future logins. 
  • Fill Application Form: Gather all your necessary documents and start typing in your academic and personal details. You may be required to fill in your address, parents’ details and DOB, etc. 

• Selecting the Course: After the personal details, you are given the choice to select your preferred courses and programmes. You will also get a list of exam centres to choose from. 

• Upload Documents: Follow the specified guidelines to submit all the required documents, including your signature and passport size photographs. 
• Pay Application Fee: Make the payment online through debit card, credit card, or net banking.
• Confirmation Page: Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.

Application Fee for MET

The application fee for MET 2027 is yet to be announced. The fee structure below is from the previous cycle and must be paid online. The MET 2027 fee is to be confirmed in the official notification.

Please note that both the application and examination fees are non-refundable. 

As per the official MET 2026 rules, candidates who applied on or before the Phase 1 deadline could take a second attempt in Phase 2 by paying an additional Rs 1,200. Candidates who took their first attempt in Phase 2 were not eligible for a second attempt.

MET Exam Pattern 2027 Overview

The MET 2027 exam pattern is expected to follow the official MET 2026 format. That format has 60 questions (45 MCQs and 15 NAT) in 120 minutes, for a maximum of 240 marks. • MCQ: +4 for every correct answer, −1 for every wrong answer, 0 for unanswered questions

MET 2027 Syllabus

The MET 2027 syllabus has not been released yet. Until MAHE publishes it, use the official MET 2026 B.Tech syllabus as the reference. MET Admit Card 2027

How to Download MET Admit Card 2027?

Often, the Admit Card is released around 48-72 hours before the scheduled exam date. You can access and download it through the official website:

• Click "Download Admit Card 2027" on the official website. 
• To access the admission card, enter your Application Number, Password, Date of Birth, and Security Pin. 
• Then, click "Submit." Download many copies, then print them out on the test day.
