JEE Main 2022 28 June shift 2 Physics Exam Analysis

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has concluded the JEE Main 2022 28 June shift 2 Physics exam. The exam was held in online mode from 9 AM to 12 PM. Overall the difficulty level of the JEE Main 2022 paper was moderate. All the candidates who appeared for the JEE Main exam on 28 June can now check the detailed and section-wise exam analysis here.

JEE Main 2022 28 June Shift 2 Physics Exam: Difficulty Level

In the physics section, questions were asked on almost all topics. Students were tested on the simple level of applicability of concepts. Numericals were more in numbers than theoretical questions. 2 questions from modern Physics, 6 to 7 questions from mechanics, not less than 4 questions from electricity and magnetics, and 2 questions from semiconductors made up the bulk of Physics paper besides questions from Thermodynamics and other chapters. Those students who have thoroughly covered the syllabus of XI and XII along with sufficient problem solving through a similar types of practice tests will score nicely in this paper.

Question 1. What are the things that the candidates need to carry during the JEE Main shift 2 Physics exam to the exam centre?

Question 2. What is the advantage of multiple sessions in JEE Main 2022?
Answer. 
The advantages of multiple sessions in JEE Main 2022 are as follows:

  • This will give multiple opportunities to the candidates to improve their scores in the examination if they fail to give their best on the first attempt. 
  • In the first attempt, the candidates will get a firsthand experience of taking the examination and will know their mistakes that they can improve when attempting the test next time. 
  • This will reduce the chances of dropping a year.
  • If anyone missed the examination due to reasons beyond control then he/she will not have to wait for another year.
  • A candidate need not appear in all the two sessions. However, if a candidate appears in more than one session, then the best of the 2022 NTA scores will be considered for the preparation of the ranking. 

Question 3. Can candidates apply for one session or more than one session together?
Answer. 
Yes, candidates can register for one or both sessions of JEE Main exam 2022. However, they need to pay the exam fee according to the number of sessions they have applied for.

Question 4. Can candidates apply for another session after the declaration of JEE Main 2022 result?
Answer. 
The application form submission for the second session is on hold at the moment. In case, the application form submission for the second session takes place after the results for the first session of JEE Main results are declared, the eligible candidates can then apply for the same.

Question 5. If a candidate wants to appear for both sessions, will they have a chance to pay the fees together?
Answer. 
Yes, candidates can pay the fees for both the sessions of JEE Main exam 2022 together.
