JEE Main 2022 28 June shift 1 Physics Exam Analysis

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has concluded the JEE Main 2022 28 June shift 1 physics exam. The exam was held in online mode from 9 AM to 12 PM. Overall the difficulty level of the JEE Main 2022 paper was moderate. All the candidates who appeared for the JEE Main exam on 28 June can now check the detailed and section-wise exam analysis here.

A large number of students considered the Physics section to be easy. This paper was quite balanced as questions from class XI and class XII were equally distributed. Some numerical-based questions were involving elaborate calculations. A few students also reported that some questions were a bit tricky. About 6 questions were from mechanics, 3 questions from Heat and Thermodynamics, 4 to 5 questions from electricity and magnetics, and a good number of questions from Modern Physics, and Waves and Sound. Students with a thorough understanding of the ‘Concepts of Physics by HC Verma' along with NCERT should be able to score well in this paper. Solving Mock tests as the last leg of preparation is the key to a high score for this section.

Important NTA JEE Main Exam Guidelines

1. No students will be allowed to enter the exam hall after the gate is closed.
2. No students will be allowed to leave the exam hall before the exam ends.
3. Carry your admit card to the exam hall, without which you will not be allowed to enter the exam hall or write the exam.
4. If your religion or customs require you to wear a specific attire, please ensure to be at the exam centre early for a thorough checking.
5. Frisking through Handheld Metal Detector (HHMD) will be carried out without touching the body.

Answer:
The advantages of multiple sessions in JEE Main 2022 are as follows:

  • This will give multiple opportunities to the candidates to improve their scores in the examination if they fail to give their best on the first attempt. 
  • In the first attempt, the candidates will get a firsthand experience of taking the examination and will know their mistakes that they can improve when attempting the test next time. 
  • This will reduce the chances of dropping a year.
  • If anyone missed the examination due to reasons beyond control then he/she will not have to wait for another year.
  • A candidate need not appear in all the two sessions. However, if a candidate appears in more than one session, then the best of the 2022 NTA scores will be considered for the preparation of the ranking. 

Q 3. Can candidates apply for one session or more than one session together?
Answer:
Yes, candidates can register for one or both sessions of JEE Main exam 2022. However, they need to pay the exam fee according to the number of sessions they have applied for.

Q 4. Can candidates apply for another session after the declaration of JEE Main 2022 result?
Answer:
The application form submission for the second session is on hold at the moment. In case, the application form submission for the second session takes place after the results for the first session of JEE Main results are declared, the eligible candidates can then apply for the same.

Q5. If a candidate wants to appear for both sessions, will they have a chance to pay the fees together?
Answer:
Yes, candidates can pay the fees for both the sessions of JEE Main exam 2022 together.
