IPU CET Medical Application Process

Filling out the application form correctly and on time is the first crucial step. Details of the process are:

  • Go to the Official IPU CET Portal: Open ipu.admissions.nic.in and go to the “Apply Online” section of medical courses.
  • Registration: Fill in a valid email address and mobile number. Next, create a strong and effective password for login purposes. Authentication through OTP is required to validate the details of the aspirant.
  • Login: Enter the registered details and password to open and fill out the detailed application form.
  • Form Filling: Fill in personal details such as identification numbers, educational background (10th and 12th details), category certificates, or any other important information. Remember, the mismatch in the provided details results in the refusal of the application or trouble with the admission later.
  • Documentation: Here, upload the soft copies of your current passport size photograph and signature in the same size and format as prescribed by IPU CET guidelines.
  • Fee Payment: Pay the non-refundable fee of INR 1,200 + GST through online payment options like net banking, credit/debit card or UPI. Payment by other means (offline) is unacceptable. Candidates are advised to check the payment policies at the time of the application.
  • Submission and confirmation: Complete the application and download the confirmation or acknowledgement receipt. Take a printout for the records and use it at a later date during counselling or when required.

IPU CET Eligibility Criteria

To apply and take the IPU CET 2025, candidates have to fulfil the following eligibility criteria.

Nationality:

  • All Indian nationals and NRIs can apply.
  • International students are required to refer to the university guidelines for international students. It includes specific admission or qualifying criteria.

Age:

  • As of 31 December 2025, the minimum age is 17 years in compliance with medical regulatory bodies.
  • Most paramedical and allied courses have no upper age limits; although, candidates must keep an eye on the announcements of the particular course to learn about new deviations or permissions.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Passing 10+2 or equal education qualifications under recognised boards and requirements. Physics, Chemistry and Biology are obligatory subjects.
  • Minimum aggregate marks of 50 per cent and above for general category candidates in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). Relaxed criteria apply for reserved categories as per government regulations.
  • Passing English is necessary as the language of instruction and examination is English.

  • 85% of seats are reserved for candidates domiciled in Delhi, promoting local students' access to quality education.
