The Last Bargain is a poem composed by the acclaimed and prestigious Bengali writer Rabindranath Tagore. It is a sonnet about an individual searching for a job. The speaker in the sonnet is looking for an occupation in which he doesn't need to lose his opportunity. He gets the primary proposition from a King. The ruler gives him power as a trade-off for his work. Yet, he declines the ruler's offer. He gets the second proposal from a rich man. He gives the speaker bunches of gold as a trade-off for his work. Yet, the speaker denies his offer too. He gets the third proposal from a wonderful young lady. She says that she will offer him grins as a trade-off for his work. The speaker denies her offer, as well. Eventually, he finds a kid playing on the beach. The kid says that he will give him nothing as a trade-off for his administrations. The speaker acknowledges the youngster's proposal as he can, in any case, be a liberated person.
