About Punjab Agricultural University: Overview

The PAU has a long-standing reputation for playing a crucial role in making India self-sufficient in food production, particularly in wheat and rice, for which it is often called the "Mother of the Green Revolution." The university was established in 1962 and is one of the first agricultural universities to be established in India.
