About MMM University of Technology: Overview

Originally established in 1962 as Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College (MMMEC), it was upgraded to a state university in 2013, which is today known as Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology. It was upgraded in the form of a non-affiliating, teaching and research University by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

Its main campus, which is spread across 354 acre geographical area, is located in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Being the first state university in Uttar Pradesh to achieve this feat, MMMUT has been accredited with grade ‘A’ and a CGPA of 3.1 by NAAC. The admission process at MMMUT involves an online application procedure, entrance exam participation and subsequent cut-off rankings qualification, and marks obtained during Class 12 (for UG programs) and UG program (for PG programs).
