About Jamia Hamdard University: Overview

Jamia Hamdard was inaugurated by Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi in 1989. It had the status of a Deemed to be University by the Government of India. It is a private institution accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC. The university is located in the prime area of South Delhi and has a campus spread over 100 acres. Jamia Hamdard University Admission Process

The candidates can take admission in Jamia Hamdard University through the following three modes:

• By qualifying for the entrance exams
• Through merit
• Through national competitive exams such as NEET-UG, JEE and others

The admission into M. Phil and PhD programmes can be taken through written tests followed by interviews.
