G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT), established on November 17, 1960, in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand, is India’s first agricultural university. Spanning 12,661 acres, it ranks among the world’s largest university campuses. The university comprises 10 constituent colleges, including the College of Technology, which offers 8 B.Tech programs and 24 postgraduate programs.
With approximately 70 subject-matter departments, GBPUAT operates 14 specialised research centres, 7 off-campus research stations, and 10 horticultural research-cum-extension centres.
