About Christ University: Overview

CHRIST (Deemed to be University) was founded in 1969 as ‘Christ College.’ In 2008, the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India, under the Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, declared the institution Deemed to be University, in the name of Christ University. One of the premier institutions in the country with NAAC ranking of A in 1998, it was re-accredited with an A+ in 2004, 2016 and 2022. The primary campus of this university is located at Hosur Road, Bengaluru, over an expanse of 25 acres. Others are located at Bannerghatta Road, Kengeri, and Yeshwanthpur. The university is dedicated to value education and discipline and is affiliated to the UGC, AICTE, BCI and NCTE.

• Most courses such as BBA, BSc, MTech, MBA, and more require appearing for the entrance test, conducted by the university.
