Category-A (A student can avail any ONE of the scholarships in Category - A, whichever is higher)

• Attested marksheet and/or report cards will have to be submitted by the student at the time of admission.

(iv) Based on Class X/XII Board Exam performance where Marks system is applicable (Merit Scholarship)*

Admission cum Scholarship Test (ACST) Fee: TThe Admission cum Scholarship Test fee is ` 500/- (including GST 18%). This amount can be paid either by Cash / Credit Card / Debit Card / Bank Draft in favour of ‘Aakash IIT-JEE’ for Engineering Courses and 'Aakash Institute' for Medical Courses. The test fee is not refundable under any circumstances.

 

(vi) Based on performance in Competitive Exams like NTSE & KVPY

3 JEE (Main) Qualifier

15% Students who have qualified JEE (Main) and are preparing for next year’s JEE for improving their rank. (Attach Proof).

Meaning of Scholarship (Scholarship means Fee Concession; Fee Discount; Fee Waiver): If at any point of time government decides to charge GST on the scholarship/concession amount/fee waiver and in prize money, then it shall be borne by the students / parents / guardians.
Note: Maximum scholarship on tuition fee for which a student shall be eligible is 100%.
Category-B (A student can avail any ONE of the scholarships in Category - B, whichever is higher)

Scholarship for Ex-Aakashians

 1 Ex-Aakashian (R1) 20% This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to Ex-Aakashian who has already taken our Two Year Classroom Course / One Year Regular Course at any of centres / branches of Aakash Institute. He/she must have paid full course fee. Left out / Droppers will not be given this benefit.
The student will have to submit the proof for the same.
2 Ex-Aakashian (R2) ` 2000/- Those students who had joined our Short Term Classroom Courses (Achiever / Crash / Test Series Courses) shall be given this scholarship on tuition fee.
He/she must have paid full course fee. Left out / Droppers will not be given this benefit. Such students should submit the photocopy of fee receipt issued to them at the time of admission in crash course.
3 Ex-Aakashian (DLP & Test Series) ` 1500/- This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to Ex-Aakashian who had joined any of our One Year / Two Year Long Distance Learning Programs (DLP) or Test Series Courses at Classroom Centre.
He/she must have paid full course fee. Students who paid booking amount or registration fee etc. will not be given this benefit. Such students should submit the photocopy of fee receipt issued to them at the time of admission in crash course.
4 Ex-Aakashian
(Foundations)
` 2000/- Students who had taken Aakash Foundations classroom courses are also eligible for this scholarship. They will be given scholarship on tuition fee paid by them in the previous class.
The student will have to submit the proof for the same.
5 Ex-Aakashian
(Aakash Live)
10% Students who had taken One year / Two year long Aakash Live Courses are only eligible for this scholarship. He/she must have paid full course fee Left out / Droppers will not be given this benefit.
The student will have to submit the proof for the same.
6 Ex-Aakashian (iTutor) 5% Students who had taken One Year / Two Year Long premium Aakash iTutor courses are also eligible for this scholarship. He/she must have paid full course fee. Left out / Droppers will not be given this benefit.
The student will have to submit the proof for the same.

Note: It is the responsibility of the student to apply for the above mentioned concession criteria at the time of admission. In case he /she does not apply for the same for whatsoever reason, the concession will not be granted / given or adjusted at later stage. All students to abide by this policy.

Scholarship for Other Categories

1 Single Parent / Divorcee 5% This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to those students who have lost their father and their mother is the only single earning member in the family. Proper application and proof in this regard will have to be submitted by the mother. This benefit will be given to the wards of Female Divorcee also (Attach Proof).
2 Sibling 5% This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to those student (Sibling) whose brother or sister is currently studying in classroom course with us. In this case, scholarship will be given to the student who is taking admission and not to the students already studying in Aakash. However, in case, if two brothers/sisters take admission together at the same time, then both will get this benefit / advantage.
3 Defence / Police 15% This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to the wards of various Defence Personnel (Army, Navy, Air Force, CRPF, CISF & BSF) & Police Directorate. (Attach Proof).
4 Martyr 100% This Scholarship on tuition fee will be given to those students who have lost their father/mother during their service either in War, Terrorist Warfare or Govt. Operation. (Attach Proof).

 

Note: The scholarships of Category-A, B & C can be clubbed. However in short term courses (Achiever / Crash / Test Series Courses) for Engineering Courses and (Crash Course / Test Series Course) for Medical Courses a student can avail concession mentioned in Category-B & C only.
Scholarship is offered on Tuition Fee only.

Rules:
(a) One student shall be given one award scholarship only whichever will be higher.
(b) The student must be from Classroom Course of AESL.
(c) If any other Institute claims him/her as a student of their Institute, he/she will not be eligible for the award scholarship.
(d) Prize money is inclusive of GST.
(e) The award scholarship is applicable only to All India Ranks of General Category and not to the ranks under any other head such as SC, ST, OBC, PH, Defence etc.
(f) The Award scholarship will be paid in Indian Rupees only. (By Cheque).
In all cases, the decision of the Managing Director of Aakash Educational Services Limited shall be final.
