Regular Classroom Courses Admission Process

 

ADMISSION PROCESS FOR MEDICAL & ENGINEERING COURSES 

The students can take admission either directly on the basis of Percentage of marks secured in their last examination or through “Admission-cum-Scholarship-Test (ACST)”. 

Cut off for Direct Admission: 

  1. Those students who have secured minimum 85% and above marks in Science & Maths in previous class OR secures 70% marks in ACST OR less than or equal to 35000 Ranks in ANTHE can take direct admission in Four Year (in class IX) or Three Year (in class X) Courses for Medical / Engineering, Olympiads & NTSE. 
  2. Those students who have secured minimum 70% aggregate marks in Science & Maths in class IX / X Board exam of CBSE/ICSE or any other recognized Board can take direct admission in Two Year Courses for Medical / Engineering. 
  3. Those students who have secured minimum 70% aggregate marks in Science & Maths in class X / 70% aggregate marks in PCB / PCM in class XII Board exam can take direct admission in One Year Courses for Medical / Engineering. 
  4. Those students who have secured minimum 65% aggregate marks in PCB / PCM in class XII or 70% aggregate marks in Science & Maths in class X Board Exam can take direct admission (DA) in Short-Term Courses i.e. Crash Courses / Test Series Courses / Achiever Courses. 

If Science and Mathematics subjects are mentioned individually, the percentage of marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics is taken into consideration for calculating the percentage in Science & Mathematics. If Grades are mentioned individually, the Grades obtained in Science and Mathematics is taken into consideration for calculation. 


Syllabus & Pattern for Admission-cum-Scholarship-Test: 

There is no ACST for Short-Term Courses. 

  • ACST for Medical aspirants applying for Two Year Medical Course will be conducted from the class X syllabus comprising of 45 objective questions from science (PCB) and 30 objective questions from Mathematics totaling 75 questions. 
  • ACST for Medical Aspirants applying for One Year Medical Course i.e. XII cum Medical Course / Repeater Course will be conducted from the syllabus of class XI / XII respectively. There will be total 100 questions from PCB; 50 questions from Biology, 25 questions from Physics and 25 questions from Chemistry. Each correct answer carries 4 marks. There will be NO negative marking for wrong answers. Total no. of questions is 100. Maximum marks are 400. Duration of test is 2 hrs. 
  • ACST for Engineering aspirants applying for Two Year Engineering Course i.e., First Step Course will be conducted from the syllabus of class IX & X comprising of Physics 25, Chemistry 25 and Mathematics 25 totaling 75 objective questions. 
  • ACST for Engineering Aspirants applying for One Year Engineering Course i.e. Second Step Course, Power Step / Repeater Course will be conducted from the syllabus of class XI / XII respectively. There will be total 100 questions from PCM; 50 questions from Mathematics, 25 questions from Physics and 25 questions from Chemistry. Each correct answer carries 4 marks. There will be NO negative marking for wrong answers. Total no. of questions is 100. Maximum marks are 400. Duration of test is 2 hrs. 

ADMISSION PROCESS FOR FOUNDATION COURSES 

A student can take admission directly on the basis of percentage of marks/grades or through “Admission-cum-Scholarship-Test (ACST)”. 

Cut off for Direct Admission: 

Those students who have secured above 70% aggregate marks or B1 Grade in Science & Mathematics can take direct admission otherwise; he/she will have to appear in our Admission-cum-Scholarship-Test. 

Syllabus & Pattern for Admission-cum-Scholarship-Test

ACST for Foundation Courses will be conducted from Class VIII / IX syllabus of Science and Mathematics comprising of 45 objective questions from each subject. Each correct answer carries 4 marks. There will be NO negative marking for wrong answers. Total no. of questions is 90. Maximum marks are 360. Duration of test is 2 hrs. 

Documents required for all Classroom Courses at the time of Admission: 

  1. Two recent passport size colour Photographs. 
  2. Self-attested photocopy of mark-sheet of last School / Board Exam. 
  3. Demand Draft (DD) / Post Dated Cheques (PDCs) of Course fees. 
  4. Proof of Scholarship for Other Categories as listed in the brochure. 
  5. Any other proof for availing scholarship, as applicable.
