The National Testing Agency (NTA) has concluded the JEE Main 2022 29 June Shift 1 exam. The exam was held in online mode from 9 AM to 12 PM. Q 1. What is the benefit of having multiple sessions in JEE Main 2022?
Answer:
The benefits of multiple sessions in JEE Main 2022 are as follows:

  • Provide multiple opportunities to the students to improve their scores in the examination if they fail to give their best on the first attempt. 
  • Candidates will get a firsthand experience of taking the examination and will know their mistakes that they can improve when attempting the test next time. 
  • This will reduce the chances of dropping a year.
  • If anyone missed the examination due to reasons beyond control then he/she will not have to wait for another year.
  • A candidate need not appear in all the two sessions. However, if a candidate appears in more than one session, then the best of the 2022 NTA scores will be considered for the preparation of the ranking.

Yes, for admission into IITs, NITs, and CFTIs the score that candidates have secured in their class 12 board exam will be taken into consideration. Candidates should have passed their exam with a minimum of 75 percent and for SC/ST it should be 65 percent.

Q 5. Can a candidate change the allotted JEE Main 2022 centre just before appearing for the exam?
Answer: 
Candidates have the chance to change their exa, centre only when the correction window opens. Also students would not have to pay any additional fee for change of exam centre.
