ISC 2024- Indian School Certificate

The Indian School Certificate (ISC) examination is the class 12 examination conducted by the CISCE board. The ISC exam is an annual examination conducted for students of class 12 enrolled in CISCE-affiliated schools pan India. Students who have passed the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE - class 10) Examination with passes in 7 subjects including English are eligible to be admitted to the Indian School Certificate Examination. All those students who have completed a two-year ICSE syllabus or equivalent are eligible to enroll for the ISC board.

For ISC students, English is a mandatory subject. Students from all three streams - Science, Commerce, and Arts must study English as a compulsory subject along with other elective subjects, which students need to choose based on their interests.

ISC Class 12 Subject Details 

All students for the ISC pass certificate must enter and sit for English, which is a mandatory subject. Along with English, the students must opt for three, four or five elective subjects and must have been evaluated internally by their respective schools and have secured a passing grade in Socially Useful Productive Work and Community Service (compulsory). Practicals are also conducted for select subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) in ISC Class 12 exams.

Ans.- Once the admit cards are released, visit the official website- cisce.org. Enter the details in there as asked - registration number, roll number, date of birth and click submit. Admit card will appear on the screen. Download ICSE and ISC hall tickets.

Ques.03- What is the age limit for appearing for the ISC Examination?
Ans.- There is no age limit for appearing for the ICSE Examination. However, schools, while admitting the candidates are requested to follow the norms as set by the State Education Department of the concerned State Government.
