HITSEEE 2025 Latest Updates 

The cutoff of HITSEEE 2025 will soon be issued by the Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS). The cutoff refers to the minimum marks and ranks for admission to the undergraduate engineering programs of the institute. The cutoff will be finalised keeping in view certain factors such as the total number of seats available, the difficulty level of the exam, and the total number of candidates appearing in the given examination. Depending upon the cutoff score, those candidates will be called for the counselling cum seat allotment process. The cutoff lists will also be published on the official website.

HITSEEE 2025 Application Process

The HITSEEE 2025 application involves a step-by-step online procedure. It involves-

Registration:

  • Go to the official website of HITS.

  • An option for registration will come up; click on "Register." Fill in details such as name, mobile number, landline (if any), date of birth, and the captcha code.

  • Click on the "I Accept" tab to complete registration.
  • Log in through your application number and date of birth. Now proceed.

Email Verification:

  • A verification link is sent to his/her email ID registered at the time of registration.

  • Open the mail, click the link and then log in to complete the procedure.

 Fill in the Application Form:

  • Fill in all personal, educational, and communication details; also, choose test city preferences.

  • Upon completion of all entries, click Submit to proceed further in the process.

Uploading of Documents:

  • Upload scanned images of your passport-size photograph and signature as per the specifications.
  • Photograph: 3.5 cm ×4.5 cm, 100–200 kb, Colour picture with light background.
  • Signature: 6 cm × 3 cm, 100–200 kb.

  • Ensure image quality is good and images are within the size limits specified.

Payment of Application Fee:

  • The payment of fees must be Rs. 1200 online by means of credit cards, debit cards, or net banking.
  • Once the payment is made, a receipt is generated; please take a print of it and keep it safe.

 Final Submission:

  • After completing all the stages, submit the form online.

  • Please print the final application form for your reference.

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to appear for HITSEEE 2025.

For B.Tech., B.Arch, B.Sc., Diploma Candidates:

B.Tech.

  • Candidates should have passed the Class 12 (10+2) Examination or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or a Technical Vocational subject.

  • Candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in these subjects (45% for reserved category candidates) with a minimum of 60% in Mathematics.

  • Any exam considered by the University to be equivalent to Class 12 will also be accepted.

  • The candidates with Cambridge GCE qualifications must have accepted passes at the Advanced Level in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology, and passes at the AS level in English.

B.Arch

  • The candidate should have passed Class 12 (10+2) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

OR

  • The candidate should have completed a 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

  • Should have secured at least 45% of aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

  • The third subject of Class XII must be one of the following: Chemistry, Biology, Technical Vocational Subject, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Engineering Graphics, and Business Practices.

B.Sc.

  • Should have passed any one recognised Bachelor Degree in Science of minimum 3 years duration (10+2+3 pattern).

  • Must have secured at least 50% marks in their degree.

  • Had studied Mathematics either at the 10+2 level or as one of the core/ancillary subjects at the B.Sc. level for admission to the B.Tech degree course.

Diploma Candidates

  • Should have passed any one recognised Bachelor Degree in Science of minimum 3 years duration (10+2+3 pattern).

  • Must have secured at least 50% marks in their degree.

  • Had studied Mathematics either at the 10+2 level or as one of the core/ancillary subjects at the B.Sc. level for admission to the B.Tech degree course.

  • The seat shall be allotted on the basis of the Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Engineering Entrance Examination 2025, All India Rank number of the candidate.

  • Admission is open to a candidate to the course of his/her choice if he/she has higher marks or a better rank in the entrance examination.

  • Counselling on the basis of the rank obtained in the exam.

  • The university will duly call the candidates for counselling whose names appear in the merit list.

  • The selected candidates will have to pay an admission fee of INR 50,000 through DD/ NEFT/RTGS in favour of Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, payable at Chennai.
