PGIMER Placements 2025

As per the online student experiences, PGIMER does not have a dedicated placement cell that organises placement events for the students; however, 70-90% students find opportunities at various reputed hospitals, research institutions, and organisations, and even at PGIMER itself. The same is the case for internship opportunities as well.

  • Dedicated placement cell: The institution does not have a traditional placement cell like other institutes, but due to its reputation, students find adequate employment opportunities at reputed organisations.
  • Internship opportunities: Just like placement, the institute does not provide internship opportunity assistance, and students usually find internship opportunities on their own, with stipends usually ranging from Rs. 500 to Rs. 15,000 per month.
  • Notable Alumni: Ashok Panagariya (Neurologist), Chittoor Mohammed Habeebullah (gastroenterologist), Purshottam Lal Wahi (cardiologist), YS Chandrashekhar (Cardiologist), Ram Baran Yadav (first President of Nepal), and many more.

Scholarships and Financial Aid at PGIMER

Due to the low fee structure of the university, with fees usually ranging around Rs. 3000 per month, there are no explicit opportunities available at the institution. There is assistance provided to the students belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other backwards classes. Additionally, there are opportunities for grants and waivers provided by the state and central government that interested students can avail.

PGIMER Cutoff 2025
