Admission in all courses in Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute is done only through entrance tests. The process comprises several stages. If you wish to take admission for any course, you must first register with the official website for NEET UG, NEET PG, or NEET SS (as applicable to your course). The admission procedure for 2025 is presented hereunder.

Step 1: Application Process: Candidates are expected to apply online through the official website for their concerned course entrance exam.

Step 2: Mode of Selection: Admission is offered on merit obtained in the entrance examination. One must have appeared for NEET UG for MBBS, NEET PG for MD/MS, and NEET SS for DM/MCh. They can only be shortlisted for seat allotment via counselling if they have qualified in the examination. 

Step 3: Counselling Procedure: The candidate qualifying for the NEET-UG or NEET-PG must register for counselling on the MCC website, pay the required registration fee, and furnish a refundable security deposit. During Round 1 choice filling, select MGMCRI and your desired course/specialisation from the given options. Thereafter, MCC will declare the cutoffs for different rounds. If you confirm a seat in Round 1, you proceed with it; otherwise, those who have not will keep trying in Round 2, Mop-up Round, or Stray Vacancy Round. 

Step 4: Physical Reporting and Document Verification: The candidate shall have to download the allotment letter and report to MGMCRI for document verification and fee payment within the stipulated time to secure a seat.
