Like many other universities, Chettinad Academy of Research and Education (CARE) has an organised and fairly competitive admission process for all of its programs, including medical degree programs, as well as pharmacy, nursing, and law. Depending on the course, selection may be based on academic achievements or, for some of the healthcare programs, a national-level entrance exam.
For admission into medical courses under the Faculty of Medicine, candidates must qualify in NEET and meet the eligibility criteria for each program. Similarly, those applying for B. Arch courses through the School of Architecture must have a valid NATA score. Other programs in Allied Health Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Law, and even Commerce are based on academic performance, which may include an internal screening process.
All applicants must apply online via the portal on the CARE official page and on or before the deadline. Ineligible applicants won’t be accepted, so it is very important to read through the eligibility criteria before completing the application form. Here is the eligibility criteria:

Let us discuss the admission process in detail:
In the first step, applicants must visit the CARE webpage to find the online application portal. Make sure you go through the eligibility requirements for each course before applying.
Selecting candidates is through a screening process which is either based on the performance in a given entrance exam or through merit for other courses. The MBBS and B. Arch programs have NEET and NATA score requirements, respectively, and all other programs are admissions through merit.
After all the selection processes, CARE releases an online course-wise merit list. Candidates on the list need to pay the seat booking fee to confirm their admission within the stipulated time.
CARE makes sure the process is simple and the students can find all the needed information on the official website.
