Q1. Is CENTAC a private or government organisation?
Ans. CENTAC is a government-based body in Puducherry. It conducts admissions for B.Tech courses based on the student ranking or score in JEE Mains or class 12th.
Q2. Do we have to pay any counselling fees for CENTAC admission?
Ans. Yes. A candidate has to pay an amount of 750/-, or 350/- (SC/ST candidates) as a counselling fee payable at Puducherry. You will have to submit the fee through a demand draft in favour of 'The Convener CYNTAC'.
Q3. What is the minimum score required for CENTAC seat allotment?
Ans. The eligibility criteria for CENTAC undergraduate programmes depend on their merit. Therefore, an applicant must score a minimum of 45% in their Class 12th examination. Meanwhile, candidates belonging to OBC/ BCM/ MBC/ EBC/ BT/ SC/ ST need to score at least 40%.
