JEE Advanced 2024 exam will be conducted on 26th May 2024. Candidates need to register for the same on the official website - jeeadv.ac.in.

How to Register for JEE Advanced?

To register for JEE Advanced, candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps:

  • Visit the JEE Advanced official website and log in with the credentials (JEE Main Roll Number, Password, and Security Pin). Once done, click on the submit button. You will then be asked to choose a new password. 
  • You will then be required to fill in the details asked along with the number of attempts. Then choose the three examination cities as per your preference. 
  • Select the JEE Advanced language of the question paper (English or Hindi). Check all details carefully before submitting and then submit it.

Here is the list of documents required to complete the registration process:

  • 10th class certificate or birth certificate.
  • 12th or equivalent exam certificates.
  • Category, PwD, or DS certificate (if applicable).

JEE Advanced Application Form – Important Instructions

Here are the important instructions students need to follow to fill out the application form:

1. The JEE Advanced Application form can be filled out only in online mode.

2. Aspirants must check their eligibility before filling out the JEE Advanced Application form. If the eligibility conditions are not matched, the application form may be rejected or canceled later.

3. Candidates must fill in all the details correctly, especially the mobile number and email ID, as all the information will come on mobile and email only.

4. Candidates must choose the nearest exam centre to avoid unnecessary confusion during the last minute of starting the JEE Advanced Exam.

5. An incomplete application will be rejected.

6. Sufficient time will be provided to the candidates for correction and editing of their JEE Advanced Application form.

7. Candidates must keep printouts of payment receipts and complete the application form for future reference.

How to Fill out the Application Form for JEE Advanced?

Here are the complete steps to fill out the Application Form:

1. The candidate must visit the JEE Advanced main website.

2. Then you need to register your mobile number and email ID. Make sure you put the correct mobile number and email ID, as this will remain the same till you complete all the stages in the JEE Advanced exam.

3. Verify your mobile number and email ID by the links sent to your mobile and email ID, respectively.

4. After the verification is done, the candidate must log in to the JEE Advanced portal.

5. Click on the application form button and proceed with the JEE Advanced Application form.

6. Fill in all the details correctly. Revise the details before the final submission.

7. After filling in all the details, the candidate is directed to the payment window.

8. Choose the mode of payment, i.e. online or offline.

9. Make the payment and keep the payment receipt safe for future purposes.

10. After successful payment, the complete application form is displayed on the screen.

11. The aspirants must keep a printout of this application form as it will be needed for future references.

12. In any case, candidates must not miss their roll number and application number. If missed, contact the JEE Advanced authorities.

JEE Advanced Application Fee Details

The candidates can pay the JEE Advanced Application form fee via credit/debit card or net banking through online mode. In addition, candidates can also opt for offline payment mode. The candidate needs to download the challan during the payment of fee process and visit the nearest bank branch to pay the challan. JEE Advanced Application form – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must go through the following eligibility criteria for the JEE Advanced exam:

  • Nationality – Indian nationals, including PIO/OCI and foreign national category, are eligible to take the JEE Advanced exam and fill out the JEE Advanced Application form.
  • Qualification – Engineering aspirants taking JEE Advanced 2024 must have qualified 12th standard or equivalent in the year 2024 or 2023 from a recognized university or board.
  • Subjects – JEE Advanced aspirants must have taken Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics as their major subjects in 12th standard or equivalent.
  • Number of attempts – Candidates can take the JEE Advanced exam two times a year. More than two times is not allowed in the JEE Advanced exam.
  • JEE Mains qualified – The candidate must have qualified for JEE Main 2024 to take the JEE Advanced 2024 exam.
  • Age limit – The candidate must be born on or after 1st October 1998 to take the JEE Advanced exam 2024. In addition, the reserved category candidates are given a five-year age relaxation.

Ans.- Yes, engineering aspirants can pay their fees offline by downloading the payment challan, visiting the nearest bank branch, and paying the challan.

Ques.2: Will I get my fee refund if I do not take the exam or opt out of the JEE Advanced Exam?
Ans.- No, the JEE Advanced Application form fee is non-refundable and non-transferable, whatever the issue may be.

Ques.3: Can I edit my JEE Advanced Application form if I incorrectly filled in my details?
Ans.- Yes, the aspirants can edit their JEE Advanced Application form once the authorities release the notification. After the registration process is over, the notification is released after 4-5 days so that candidates can make the necessary corrections.

Ans.- Candidates can download their application form as soon as they pay their application fees. Even after paying the fees, candidates can visit their login portal and download the application form there. First, check the computer’s internet connection or scan your computer for a bug.
