CENTAC 2025 Syllabus

CENTAC does not conduct any entrance exam, and admission to Medical and allied courses primarily depends on the exams like NEET-UG and PNET. Physics, Chemistry and Biology, as present in the syllabus of 11th and 12th standards, are the common subjects of both examinations. PNET also considers English and General Aptitude. The important topics are mentioned here. Candidates should refer to the detailed syllabus links on the official exam website for any updates.

FAQs

Q1. Which chapter holds maximum weightage in the NEET-UG Biology Syllabus?
Ans. According to the past trends, in the Biology section these are some important chapters:

  • Human Physiology
  • Reproduction
  • Genetics
  • Evolution

They hold the maximum weightage. But students must also prepare the entire syllabus thoroughly.

Q2. Is the NEET-UG Physics syllabus tough?
Ans. The Physics syllabus for NEET-UG is similar to the topics a student would learn in 11th and 12th standards. The difficulty of the paper is moderate. So, students must prepare and thoroughly revise the concepts to score good marks.

Q3. What are the most important Chemistry chapters in NEET-UG?
Ans. While a student is expected to prepare the entire syllabus, some Chemistry chapters can help to maximise the Chemistry score, according to past trends, like-

  • Physical Chemistry: Thermodynamics, Chemical Kinetics, Chemical Equilibrium, Electrochemistry
  • Inorganic Chemistry: Chemical Bonding, Co-ordination Compounds, p-block elements
  • Organic Chemistry: Hydrocarbons, Alcohols, Aldehydes and Ketones, Carboxylic Acids.
