The Uttarakhand Board of School Education, also known as UBSE, is an education board in Uttarakhand and is primarily responsible for prescribing the syllabus, courses of instructions, and textbooks. The UBSE board conducts examinations for secondary school students in the State of Uttarakhand. 

The UBSE board was established in 2001 and is headquartered in Ramnagar. At present more than 10,000 schools are affiliated with the UBSE Board. The Board sets up over 1,300 examination centres for more than 300,000 examinees each year.

Uttarakhand Board of School Education(UBSE) is affiliated with almost 10,000 schools, and its regional office was set up on 9 February 1996 at Ramnagar, Uttarakhand. Mentioned below are some of the functions of the UBSE Board:

UBSE Board Class 10 Exams 

Class 10th is very crucial in a student’s academic life. This class sets the base for senior secondary education and helps students decide on the specialised stream. The UBSE board conducts board exams for class 10 students. 

UBSE Board Class 12 Exams

Class 12 is the last stage of schooling and the most important class for students. The Class 12 scores set the base for students’ higher studies. The UBSE Board is in charge of conducting the Board exams for class 12 in Uttarakhand. Lakhs of students appear in the UBSE board Class 12 exams each year.

UBSE Board Syllabus 2023

UBSE board prescribes the Syllabus for every class, including Classes 10 and 12. The main subjects taught in class 10 include Science, Maths, Social Science, Home Science, and many more. Students are also taught languages like Hindi, English, Sanskrit, and so on. Following class 10, students can streamline their studies into the science stream, commerce, or Arts stream as they prefer. The syllabus for streams and subjects is advised by the Board and Government.

The UBSE board usually conducts the annual exams in March/April each year and the results are usually announced in May/June. If we talk about the UBSE board 2023 results, they will be announced after the conduct of the 2023 exams.

Answer. There are as many as six subjects in the UK 10th exam. Five subjects are core or compulsory and one subject is elective or optional. The compulsory subjects are English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science and Social Science.
