The IIT Main result for Paper I has been declared on April 27th, 2017. Those who appeared for Paper II will have to wait a little longer as a result of the same is scheduled to be declared on May 27th, 2017.

One thing that students should note is that the format for calculating the ranking of students has changed this year. Until last year, the marks that students obtained in the class XIIth board exam were determined for calculating the AIR (All India Ranking), however, from this year that trend has been discontinued. Class XIIth marks will only be considered to check the eligibility of the student seeking admission in IIT.
