Most of the entrance exams for Medical Colleges in India are held in the months of April / May / June for the academic year starting July / August. Generally, the syllabus of the entrance test is based on the course outline of the class XI and XII NCERT syllabus. Basically the knowledge is tested in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology but in some cases questions are asked on Assertion & Reason type, General Knowledge, Current affairs, Mental ability and Gandhian Thoughts. Results are published in the month of July / August / Sept.
