Maybe your centre mentioned it in class, maybe a friend recommended it, or maybe you spotted it while browsing the Play Store. Whatever brought you here, getting started is genuinely simple, and you really don't need any technical know-how to figure it out.

Aakash Daily is built to give you a bit of focused practice every single day, so consistency matters more than anything else. But before you can build that habit, you need to get past the basics.

This guide breaks the whole process into three easy steps. Follow along, and you'll have your account ready and your first day of practice unlocked in less time than it takes to finish a cup of chai. Let's get into it.

1

Step 1: Download the Aakash Daily App

This part is as easy as downloading any other app on your phone, so don't overthink it.

  1. Open the Play Store on Android or the App Store on iPhone.
  2. Search for "Aakash Daily."
  3. Tap Install (Android) or Get (iOS).
  4. Wait for the download to finish, then open the app.

A quick tip here: if you already have another Aakash app on your phone, don't worry, Aakash Daily works as a completely separate download and won't clash with it. Keep both installed if your centre has asked you to use them for different purposes, one for daily practice and the other for classes or study material.

2

Step 2: Log In or Create Your Account

Once the app opens, you'll land on a simple screen with two options: Log In and Sign Up. Which one you pick depends on whether you're already an Aakash student or joining fresh.

If you're an existing Aakash student:
  1. Tap Log In.
  2. Enter your PSID (the 11-digit ID shared by your Aakash centre) or your registered mobile number.
  3. Enter your password, or request an OTP if you don't remember it.
  4. Tap Continue to enter the app.

Your PSID should already be with you from your admission documents or from your centre's welcome email, so keep that handy before you start.

If you're new to Aakash:
  1. Tap Sign Up.
  2. Enter your name, mobile number, and email ID.
  3. Verify your mobile number using the OTP sent to you.
  4. Set a password for future logins.

None of this should take more than a couple of minutes. And if something goes wrong along the way, don't panic and definitely don't try creating a second account. Just use the "Forgot Password" or "Resend OTP" link on the same screen, and it should sort itself out.

3

Step 3: Complete Your Minimum Profile Setup

You're almost there. This last step is what makes Aakash Daily feel personal rather than generic, so it's worth spending thirty extra seconds on it. Right after login, you'll be asked to fill in a few basic details.

  1. Select your class (9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, or Dropper).
  2. Choose your target exam, such as JEE or NEET.
  3. Confirm your centre or batch, if applicable.
  4. Add a profile photo (optional, but it personalises your dashboard).
  5. Tap Save or Continue to land on your home screen.

And that's it. Your account is active, your profile is set, and your personalized daily practice feed is sitting there waiting for you. No lengthy forms, no confusing menus, just a few taps and you're in.

Quick Troubleshooting

!

Not receiving OTP? Check your network signal or try again after 60 seconds.

!

PSID not working? Confirm you're entering all 11 digits without spaces.

!

App not opening after install? Restart your phone and relaunch the app.

You're All Set!

With the app downloaded, your account created, and your profile in place, you're ready to start your daily practice on Aakash Daily. The hardest part was never really the setup, it's showing up every day after. So open the app, take a look at your first set of practice questions, and get that streak started. Consistency is what will actually move the needle for your exam prep, and now you have everything you need to begin.

Frequently Asked Questions
