Is there a specific number of mock tests that students should practise to secure a good percentile in the NEET exam? Let’s get to know about it in the article.

Many NEET aspirants underestimate the importance of practising mock tests and do the bare minimum of studying and covering the syllabus. But, if they don’t put into practice what they have learned, it would be difficult to analyse their performance before the NEET exam.

And, finally, it won’t be possible to score well in the exam.

Now that we know the importance of mock tests for the NEET exam, what is the number of mock tests to practise before the exam for an excellent ranking percentile? Let’s check.

Here, let’s consider the scenario of 1 month (4 weeks) before the NEET exam.

NEET Mock Test Practise – 1 Month (4 weeks) Before NEET Exam

    Week 1

In the first week, students can practise mock tests for Physics concepts and take 1 or 2 mock tests daily to ensure good preparation before the NEET 2022 exam.

Students need to take the mock test as seriously as the real exam to evaluate their performance and grasp important Physics concepts correctly. A practice of 10 to 12 per week could help grasp the subject better.

    Week 2

In the second week, students can practise mock tests for Chemistry concepts and solve 1 or 2 mock tests daily to strengthen their Chemistry subject knowledge.

Even students can divide the topics in Chemistry – Physical, Inorganic and Organic and take a mock test on 1 concept every day. 10 to 12 Mock Tests per week could help grasp the Chemistry concepts better.

    Week 3

In the third week, students can practise Biology Mock tests, 1 or 2, on a daily basis. They can start with moderately difficult concepts to gain confidence in the subject. Once they are at ease with solving mock tests, they can opt for the difficult topics.

Also, students can start with their favourite subjects in Biology – Botany and Zoology to get into the mode of taking mock tests and develop a habit of being regular in solving Biology Mock tests for the NEET 2022 exam. Students can practise 10 to 12 Biology Mock tests for the third week to improve their Biology concepts.

    Week 4

The final week can be a miscellaneous mock test marathon series where students either dedicate one day to physics, next to Chemistry and then biology. They can also take the combined all subjects mock test like the real NEET exam, practise all the topics together, and evaluate their performance accordingly. Aspirants can solve 1 combined mock test daily for 7 days, which would help them thoroughly revise all topics combined and they can be confident about scoring well in the NEET 2022 exam.

Solving the NEET 2022 mock test depends on the students who are taking it. The above strategy is generic, and students can modify it according to their requirements, concepts’ difficulties or interests. But, the aim should be to take the mock test before appearing for the NEET 2022 exam. Initially, it might feel a bit overwhelming, but once they are into the habit of solving mock tests daily, they will feel the value of this daily practice once they take the NEET 2022 exam and get their results. The effort invested will always be worth it.
