As we all know, success demands determination and effort! If you wish to ace the JEE 2022 exams, it indeed requires a significant amount of dedication, focus, and hard work. Mostly JEE aspirants get distracted and lose interest while studying; thus they go off track of their time.

In this blog, we will discuss how to study for long hours for JEE 2022 exam preparations with high productivity and concentration.

Also, check out our video on how to study for long hours

    • Prioritize

Figure out which concept/topic/subject needs much focus and thus prioritize them accordingly. Interchange subjects between 45-60 minutes so that you don’t feel bored. When you start feeling bored, start reading any favorite topic of yours for a while. Furthermore, you can create your own unique subject combination/ interconnected subjects that will help you increase your focus and learning ability.

    • Add Some Fun to Study Time

As you all know, this era is of digital technology. You can take advantage of it. Add fun elements to your study by simply connecting with your friends who are also preparing for IIT-JEE 2022. Play quizzes on chat groups or watch videos together to clear your doubts. You can call up your friends at your home for group studies. Moreover, enroll with some learning apps to watch exciting videos. You can devote some time to 5-10 minute meditation, yoga, or relaxing techniques. All this will make you refreshed instantly.

    • A  10-Minute Walk

It’s hard to sit for long hours which not only makes you bored but also drains your energy. Therefore, it is advised to move after studying every half an hour. Regular movement for 10 minutes is an energy booster and makes you refreshed and awake. While moving try to relax your mind and enjoy this free time. By doing so, you will remember information for a longer time.

    • Sit Straight

You might feel comfortable and cozy while studying, it will make you more sleepy. Rather, sit on a chair keeping your back straight. Use bright lights to stay awake and avoid reclining down as it will make you relaxed, sleepy, and inattentive.

    • Hydrate Yourself

A lack of concentration increased fatigue, and headaches are all linked to less intake of water. Dehydration can make you urge to rest often. Thus, keep yourself hydrated, by having water, juice, and smoothies. Avoid caffeinated drinks as they cause dehydration, which you don’t want!

    • Music Help Relax Your Mind

Whenever you feel tired, low mood, bored or irritated, do listen to your favorite music. Soft background music can make you happy by elevating your mood. During long study hours of JEE preparation, music can help maintain studying consistency. In some cases, music helps them with memorization, by creating a positive mood and new memory creation.

    • Avoid Junk Food

You may feel tempted by sugary snacks and junk food while preparing for JEE exams 2022. In turn, junk food and sugary snacks spike your blood sugar levels instantly, making you sluggish. Instead, aim for a wholesome, nutritious diet full of veggies and fruits. Prefer small frequent meals.

    • Smart Study Techniques

Revising the same topic regularly can make you feel dull. Keep yourself alert by opting for smart study techniques. Try following smart study techniques for JEE exams 2022 preparation:

    • Learn with colored diagrams, cue cards, visuals, charts, cue cards, and other interesting means.
    • Try to read out loud so that you remain more alert and give attention to your voice.

During JEE Mains and JEE Advanced 2022 preparation, you might feel sleepy and uninterested, to avoid this problem, go and wash your face more often. It is the most beneficial and practical method to be awake and fresh to learn and retain information.

    • Note Down

Writing down while studying is a great tool to learn and revise. It keeps you engaged and prevents you from falling asleep. It is the best way to memorize your concepts and keep your mind and body engaged, focused, and awake.

    • Divide Your Goals

Allot time for revision, new concepts learning and problem-solving. Try to accomplish small goals in a specified time, as it will keep you motivated and alert.

While preparing for JEE Exams 2022, look for efficient ways to maximize your focus, effective time management ways, and study for long hours. All this is possible if you follow the right strategy to squeeze more hours from your daily routine. Create a daily task list, and start with the difficult ones to complete first.
