The gravity of football depends on the angle of movement of the ball with the surface of the playground.
The path of the football when thrown is parabolic. This is because of the force of gravity acting on it.
When you throw a football in a vertical direction, the force of gravity acts on it reducing its speed.
But after attaining a certain height, the same force of gravity influences the ball by accelerating it downwards until it hits the ground.
The path of the football or any object thrown under the influence of gravity is called the projectile motion.
