National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is conducted to identify talented students who intend to pursue theirhigher education in science and social studies. Organized by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), NTSE is conducted as Stage I and Stage II examination at state-leveland national level respectively.

The State Level Talent Search Exam, NTSE Stage I is conducted for students studying in Class X. Students qualifying in Stage I are eligible for NTSE stage II examination conducted by NCERT at the national level.
