The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is one of the most difficult entrance examinations, which is conducted to test the ability of aspiring medical aspirants. Those who clear the NEET examination with excellent scores get to study in some of the most prestigious medical colleges in India. NEET is conducted in pen-and-paper format. This year, NTA conducted NEET 2023 on 7th May 2023.
You can check your NEET-UG Result 2023 by following the few steps mentioned below:
Visit the official website of NTA http://ntaneet.nic.in/
Then enter your application no. along with D.O.B. and password, then hit the submit button.
You will be redirected to another window where NEET 2023 results will be displayed.
You can download your result card. You need to take the printout for further NEET counseling and admissions.
NEET 2023 Cut Off
The NEET 2023 cut-off will be announced before the results. These cut-off marks will be the minimum required marks a candidate needs to score for qualifying the exam. The NEET cut-off will be announced category-wise. This year as per the latest trends the expected cut-off marks for NEET 2023 is 50% for the general category, 45% for the PH category, and 40% for the reserved category.

2: What will be the tie-breaking rule if two candidates score equal marks?
Ans: If two or more candidates score equal marks in NEET UG 2023, the below-mentioned tie-breaking rule will be applied:
Candidates securing higher marks/percentile scores in biology (botany and zoology) in the NEET exam will be given first preference.
Candidates with higher marks/percentile scores in chemistry will be given next preference.
Followed by, candidates obtaining higher marks/percentile scores in physics in the exam.
The next preference will be given to candidates with less proportion of the number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects.
Candidates with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Biology (Botany and Zoology) will be preferred.
If the tie is not resolved, candidates with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in chemistry will secure rank.
In case the tie still remains, candidates with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in physics in the test.
