JEE Main 2022 Session 2 Results have been declared by the NTA on 07th August 2022. JEE Main 2022 is a computer-based online test conducted by JEE Apex Board (specially constituted for the conduct of JEE Main and JEE Advanced Exam in 2022 and 2023) to pursue undergraduate courses in top engineering institutes in India.   • According to the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, 5% of all seats in all colleges are reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PwD)
  • Telangana provides three different state quotas including Home State Quota, Andhra Pradesh State Quota, and Other State Quota

JEE Main 2022 Application Form

The candidates can visit NTA’s official website - nta.ac.in or jeemain.nta.nic.in - to check and fill the JEE Main 2022 application form. The candidates need to fill and submit the application form online. There is no provision for offline submission of the JEE Main 2022 application form. NTA will not accept any forms that are not submitted online. Once NTA releases the JEE Main application form, you will be able to see an ‘Apply Online’ link which will lead you to the application form.

JEE Main 2022: Step-By-Step Process to Fill JEE Main 2022 Online Application Form

Here are the steps you need to follow to fill out the JEE Main 2022 application form:

  1. Visit the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in - for applying for the JEE Main 2022.
  2. Click on ‘Apply Online’.
  3. An application form page will open up.
  4. Fill up this application form.
  5. When prompted, select New Registration. You may be asked some basic details such as your name, phone number, email address, date of birth, category, nationality, academic details, and your exam centre preference.
  6. Once registered, you will be asked to upload a scanned copy of your documents in a specific format and size. Make sure you stick to the document specifications to avoid rejection of your application.
  7. Pay the application fee through online or offline mode.
  8. Check all the information you have entered in the application form. You may not be able to change some of these details later.
  9. Submit your application form.
  10. Once submitted, you will see a confirmation page. Take a print of this page for reference purposes.
  11. Upon the completion of this process, you will receive a provisional registration number on your registered mobile number and email address.

JEE Main 2022 Application Form Correction

It is important to note that once you have submitted your JEE Main 2022 application form, you cannot edit some details. This is why candidates are advised to go through the details they enter in the application form very carefully.

However, you are allowed to edit some details through online mode. NTA has made a provision of a Correction Window wherein you can log in and correct any details that you may have entered by mistake.

The dates for the correction window are announced by NTA, so candidates must keep a close watch on the official website for updates in this regard.

JEE Main 2022 Admit Card

JEE Main 2022 admit card for session 1 was released on 21 June 2022. JEE Main Session 2 Admit Cards have been released on 21st July. Candidates can visit the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in to download the hall tickets. Candidates are first issued a provisional JEE Main 2022 admit card. It will only be considered valid if all the eligibility criteria are met.  Some of the important details that will be mentioned on the admit card are:

  • Candidate’s name
  • Father’s name
  • Roll number
  • Category
  • Date of examination
  • Exam Centre venue
  • Reporting time

  • Photograph

As soon as you download JEE Main admit cards, you should make sure that all these details are correct. In case of any discrepancy, you should contact JEE Main’s helpline immediately.

On the day of the exam, you need to present your JEE Main 2022 admit card to the exam coordinators and invigilators, failing which you will not be allowed to appear in the exam. You should keep the admit card safe even after the exam, as you will need to carry it to the counselling rounds as well. Experts suggest that you should keep your admit card safe until you finally get admission to an institute.

Here are a few points to note regarding JEE Main 2022 admit cards:

  • You can download admit cards online mode only.
  • NTA does not issue duplicate admit cards at the exam centre.
  • Pay attention to the guidelines to affix a postcard size photograph on the admit card.
  • In case of any discrepancy, you can contact the official authorities at NTA.

As there are multiple security checks involved on the day of the exam, be sure to reach the venue well ahead of the entry time. Also, note that only candidates with valid admit cards are allowed to enter the examination centre.

JEE Main 2022 Answer Key has been released by the National Testing Agency. It will be a provisional answer key and students will be provided an opportunity to raise objections, if any, against the JEE Main Answer Key by NTA.
